When Aqeel Chaudhry founded White ‘N Green in 2009, his intention was to make a living while having the ability to spend more time at home with his family. In his previous job, he spent days and weeks out of town. He felt he needed to be at home more often to spend quality time with his young children.

Very quickly in the first year, White ‘N Green hired its first employee and by the end of 2010, the one-man band had become a three-man crew.

Aqeel quickly realized that White ‘N Green was not only letting him work and stay close to home, but it was also providing a much-needed service in the community. He decided that this was his mission with his company; the opportunity to give clients back some of their time so they too could spend more time with loved ones. In today’s hectic lifestyle, White ‘N Green was able to give the clients something they desperately wanted, MORE SPARE TIME!

What type of insurance do you have?

Safety is our first priority: your loved ones, your property, and our employees. Our liability insurance, which covers personal injury to individuals on the job and your property, has $5,000,000 in coverage. All of our employees are also covered with WCB and use industry-standard equipment for safety. What are your payment options?

What is your Service Area?

White ‘N Green offers Lawn Care and Snow Removal services for Edmonton, St. Albert and Sherwood Park area. With our complete all year long package, you can expect your property to be enjoyable and hassle-free during any time of the year.

Can you still provide service if I’m outside of your service area?

We service all of Edmonton, St. Albert and Sherwood Park. We occasionally receive estimate requests from people outside of these areas, at a reasonable distance. If you are seeking an estimate on a large project, we may be able to service you with an additional charge for the initial estimate and drive time during the project. LAWN CARE RELATED

Do you offer bi-weekly or one-time lawn care?

We place our highest focus on lawn health. Our team of trained lawn care professionals know the best height and frequency to mow a lawn during each part of the lawn care season. Occasionally, new customers request bi-weekly or irregular service. Unfortunately, we only offer weekly lawn care on a pre-scheduled service route. This is necessary to maintain your best looking lawn, but we must also stay fair to our other customers. We pride ourselves on promptness and reliability, so our efficiently routed schedule guarantees our customers always know when to expect us.

Please note: during unseasonably dry parts of the season or toward the end of the season, we’ll use our professional judgment to adjust your mowing schedule as needed. This shift can result in bi-weekly or every 10 day service, if it’s the healthiest option for your lawn.

What grass height do you maintain for lawns?

As recommended by the city of Edmonton, we maintain the grass length between 2.5 – 3 inches. Longer grass shades its own roots from the scorching sun and chokes out those pesky weeds, like dandelions. Longer grass also helps create a healthier, hardier lawn by allowing longer roots to develop and it holds moisture better, so you don’t have to water as much.

Are your fertilizers pet and child-friendly?

Yes they are! However, as we also apply weed control at the same time, it is recommended that you, your children, and pets stay off the lawn for 24 hours for best results.

SNOW REMOVAL RELATED

At what accumulation of snow do you dispatch your crews?

As soon as snow reaches 0.5 cm of snow on the ground, our crews are dispatched to clear it. This is one of the best in the industry.

How often do you come clear the snow during snow storms?

During snow storms where it snows for consecutive days, we come out every 24 hours and make your property accessible by clearing the steps, driveways and walkways. We continue this till the storm is over and snow stops, That’s when perform a detail job on each property, clearing snow edge to edge.
